About me
Keely Thorntonis a Teacher-Librarian in the Greater Victoria School District in Canada for the past 20 years. She is growing roots at Monterey Middle School having been in the library for 18 years now! She has also worked in Elementary and High School Library Learning Commons around the district and has been a member of the BC Teacher-Librarians Association Executive for the past 10 years. Always looking for connections, stories, laughter, and new experiences, you can usually find her running the social events at her school or for the BCTLA, travelling, or putting books in people’s hands. A tea-leaf reader once told her that she has been a knowledge and story keeper for hundreds of years, and she takes that passion with her everywhere she goes.
